Emilio Moret, one of the biggest names in Cuban music, announces the release of his first solo album "Por la felicidad". Author and composer of over 80 tracks, he has collaborated with leading artists on the Cuban scene, including Niño Rivera, Conjunto Chapotin, Septeto Típico de Sones, Septeto Habanero and Septeto Nacional, to name but a few. In his indomitable curiosity and love for music, he conjugates the experience of several decades of "canciones" with the same young and enthusiastic spirit that brought him from Cuba and cradled him between Portugal and Cabo Verde. He has allowed himself to be conquered by the feeling of fado, the guitar of Lisbon's early hours, the soul of the morna and the cavaquinho from the Mindelo of Cesária Évora. With this debut album, Emilio Moret brings his Sonero essence to bear in his trademark timbre, traversing the different rhythms of Cuban musical identity. Recorded between Havana and Lisbon, "POR LA FELICIDAD" was chosen to pay homage to the celebration and union of three cultures that share the strength of love. And where there is love, there is happiness (ed. Note: Felicidad).
